Il Riccio Restaurant

RISTORANTE IL RICCIO is an authentic gastronomic treasure of Castiglione del Genovesi. Run by the Naddeo family, this historic, homemade restaurant is located in a charming cottage dating back to the 1600s, situated along the road leading from the central square to Via Genovesi, where Antonio Genovesi's house museum is located.

What makes this restaurant special are its strengths: the warm welcome, the convivial atmosphere, the genuine flavors, the tradition and the typical cuisine of Campania. "RISTORANTE IL RICCIO" is renowned for its homemade pasta and its rich wine cellar, which boasts over 100 Italian and foreign wine labels.

The setting is rustic and cozy, perfect for enjoying a meal of exceptional quality. Traditional Campania dishes are cooked in the wood-fired oven and include vegetable appetizers, meat, excellent lagane and chickpeas. Antonio, the host, is truly passionate about cooking and conveys a unique sense of familiarity.

The real soul of the kitchen is Mrs. Fulvia, Antonio's mother, with years of experience behind her. Her dedication to cooking has remained intact, ready to offer guests the best possible dining experience. The hot zeppole served at the end of the meal are an unmissable treat.

With the arrival of fine weather, the reception moves to the farmhouse's cool garden, adding a touch of magic to the gastronomic experience.

The "RISTORANTE IL RICCIO" is not just a restaurant, but a place where cuisine embraces ancient traditions, giving visitors not only the pleasure of the palate, but also the taste of authentic conviviality.
